Our clients needed greater efficiency in their 1972 home; we focused on hardworking bathrooms, beautiful storage systems, and a cohesive color palette to make the whole house shine.

In what was previously an unused corner of the primary bedroom, we carved out a new primary bathroom (below). We wanted the space to feel as if it had always been part of the house, so we chose a floor tile with vintage vibes and surrounded it with more modern finishes to keep it feeling fresh.

In the primary bedroom, we removed a small closet to make room for the new primary bathroom (above). To replace the storage lost, we added a wall of built-in storage that provides loads of function and serves as a focal point in the space.

In the kids’ bathroom, square white tiles are paired with hot pink grout to create a space that doesn’t take itself too seriously. We kept the bones classic (navy marmoleum and a midcentury-inspired vanity) to reference the home’s age.
